7. Google API Services User Data

mySMSGateway integrates with Google Calendar and requests read and write access only to the user's Google Calendar. This access allows mySMSGateway to view calendar availability and create, update, or delete calendar events on the user's behalf for appointment scheduling. mySMSGateway does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google services.

Google Calendar data is used solely to provide scheduling functionality within mySMSGateway. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the features requested by the user.

Google Calendar data is not sold or shared with third parties except when necessary to provide the service (such as secure cloud infrastructure providers acting on our behalf) or when required by law. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We protect Google user data using industry-standard security measures, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage where applicable, and access controls that limit data access to authorized personnel and systems.

Google Calendar data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the requested scheduling services or until the user disconnects their Google account or requests deletion of their data. Upon account deletion or revocation of Google access, any retained Google Calendar data is deleted in accordance with our data retention policies, except where retention is required by law.

mySMSGateway's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Users can revoke mySMSGateway's access at any time through their Google Account permissions.
